Louis grew up in a small city of Burgundy then undertook his BSc and MSc studies in organic chemistry at CPE Lyon. During his master’s, he did an industrial placement at Bayer Crop Science, where he synthesised small molecules for crop protection. He then moved to the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, to finalise his master’s programme as an exchange student in Chemistry with Drug discovery. Louis joined the Schoenebeck group in September 2024 for his doctoral studies.
